Here is a few designs we have built under the Wacky Sounds brand:
The “Black Gold 50”:
This was a prototype “no-frill” amp with just Volume, Bass, Treble and mid control originally designed
to be a 45 watt dual 6L6 amp. It turned out to be an 80 watter with the 6L6's due to the over design of the power supply.
It turned out a very clean amp (I.E. no overdrive sound whatever) but paired with a 15” speaker, puts out a clean bluesie tone.
The “Fab Forty”:
This amp design was loosely based on the Fender Vibrolux per the clients request.
It was built with dual 12 inch Jensen speakers, a bass kick option to change the bass tonality, switchable "Crank"
Channel for more overdrive and negative feedback control to adjust how much clean sound he wanted.
This amp seems to cover it all from clean
country to Bluesie tone to full out metal sound.
The “Baby Bottle”:
This is a small tube amp using quad EL84's for 35 watts of power.
